Linda McMahon RN, BSc, MA
Founder, Liveable Skin
Linda has been a registered nurse for over eighteen years; a dermatology specialist nurse for over fourteen years. Over that time, she has developed an understanding of the severe impact of living with chronic skin disease, together with measures of how to manage these conditions.
She commenced her dermatology career at the Homerton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in east London, where she spent eight years working with people living with inflammatory skin conditions. Following this, she spent nearly four years at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in the south-west London/ Surrey borders, where she became the lead dermatology nurse and developed her skills with skin cancer.
She was a visiting lecturer at City, University of London, teaching dermatology assessment, for five years until she moved from London.
Since relocating to Leeds, she has spent time working in community dermatology services, before deciding to open her own clinic, to offer a service to people living with inflammatory skin diseases to help them manage their conditions.
